Anguilla, British West Indies

Anguilla, Tranquility Wrapped in Blue, is a relatively flat coral island 16 miles long and 3 miles wide.  It has 33 pristine, public, white sand beaches.  Some of Anguilla's best attributes are, first and foremost, Anguilla's friendly people, the uncrowded white sandy beaches, warm sunny days and cool evenings, crystal clear aqua blue waters and unobstructed views of the moon and the stars at night.  Once we step onto Anguilla a relaxed calm comes over us and we know we are home and hope you will feel the same.

Anguilla has an abundance of wonderful restaurants fitting any budget.  Seafood is plentiful and you can purchase fresh seafood and lobster from the local fishermen at Sandy Hill Bay or Island Harbour or at The Fishery in George Hill.  The nearby grocery stores, Best Buy in the Farrington (2 minute drive), J.W. Proctor's in The Quarter and Albert Lake's World in The Valley have excellent selections of deli products, baked goods, snacks, fresh meat , fish, fruits and vegetables for your cooking pleasure.

Anguilla has been given high accolades recently in such publications as the NY Times, Caribbean Travel and Life, Conde Nast Readers' Choice Awards and proclaimed on the Travel Channel late 2005 as the best Caribbean destination. Anguilla is the northern most of the Leeward islands.  There is a prevailing wind providing comfortable temperatures day and night.  The average daytime temperature is in the mid 80's.
